Sky 02:07
Sky Sky never looked so clear The sun on my face Oh i wish you were here Can’t leave this place Even if i wanted to Even i tried What am i supposed to do? Is this supposed to be a life? Will it all just pass us by? I wish I could say I wish I could stay I wish you were close Not 6 feet away I wish we would know How long this will take I miss the sunrise Feel the wind blow It just don’t feel right To watch through windows Sky never looked so clear The sun on my face Oh, how I wish You were here

V1// My Facetime is blurry My wifi’s dropped out I hate that this Determines if I get to see you now Cuz everyday feels like yesterday And I’m losing count Though I know we’re waiting And got doubts CH// Can we both trust And learn to adjust There isn’t much we can do But believe we’ll get it through I know your spirits getting weary Oh, I feel it too But for now Ain’t much to discuss We just gotta trust V2// Moment’s together My mind feels at rest But being too far from you Puts a weight on my chest I have spent all this loneliness And I need a change Is this price worth paying Who’s to say CH2// It’s time that we trust Even when it’s tough Ain’t seem like enough to make do But at least I got you I know that all of this is scary Let’s hope it ends soon But for now We’ve only got us So let’s learn to trust BR// We’ll be just fine Promise we’re gonna find Peace of mind down the line It’ll just take some time
We’ll be okay Every flower needs rain There’s only one way To stay sane CH3// We just gotta trust Some things we cant rush There isn’t much we can do But believe we’ll get it through I know that all of this is scary So let’s change the view Cuz now It’s all up to us So let’s learn to trust
3.
V1// Been stuck here alone Girl without you with me it don’t feel like home Think you should know I can’t wait till this is over This the type of love that you dont rush This the type of love that got me doing things all just because I still believe in us And yeah we got our differences Baby we can learn to adjust CH// Oooooh No matter all the distance I don’t feel no difference To you When all of the fog has lifted I’ll be there in an instant Ooooh The storm will pass I promise that Ooooh Don’t matter if you’re close or far My home is where you are V2// Babe I’m hanging on to every single word you say And i don’t care however long its gonna take Maybe we just needed the space And babe Promise what we have is kept safe For you i would reciprocate Everything you’re giving To make me Feel this way CH// Oooooh No matter all the distance I don’t feel no difference To you When all of the fog has lifted I’ll be there in an instant Ooooh The storm will pass I promise that Ooooh Don’t matter if you’re close or far My home is where you are BR// Home is where you are Home is in your heart Home is where you are, are, are
4.

V1// Stuck in bed Stuck in my head Don't know what to do Unaware Or unprepared Of what we’re going through They say We’re gonna be okay With some distance and time away But how long is enough Till we’ve both given up How much is too much space? PRE// I’m starting to show signs Has my world been compromised? CH// The air we shared was sacred Now it’s become tainted Do you think we waited far too long? Do I stand a chance if I faced it? The older the harder it makes it Do you think we would’ve been safe if we were strong? If we were strong enough
5.
Rav4 03:29
V1// I remember driving in your RAV4 Young and in love Didn’t have nothing We had enough Didn’t need no one It was just us Had nothing but time Reminiscing All I’m missing While I'm stuck inside PRE// Oooh oooh I don’t even know what to do All I got are memories of you The only thing that’s getting me through CH// You’re my sunlight You’re my springtime You’re all that is good It’s been a long road Baby, I know Do it all again if I could If I could V2// The future’s unclear I can’t understand it Guess I took the outside world for granted Missing coffee runs with you but I’ll imagine The drinks that we would choose Iced latte, cold brews And reality pulled me down to the ground Had to take a breath and slow it down I’d give anything to run around this town right now PRE// But oooh oooh I don’t even know what to do Stuck inside at home without you Do you feel the same way too? CH// You’re my sunlight You’re my springtime You’re all that is good It’s been a long road Baby I know Do it all again if I could If I could OUTRO// Oooh Oooh Oooh Oooh Oooh Oooh La da da You’re my sunlight You’re my springtime You’re all that is good It’s been a long road Baby I know Do it all again if I could

about

I had no intention on releasing this project. I was happy to have it live on Instagram and for that to be the end of it. However, with everything that's been going on in our country, from this pandemic to the social injustices our Black brothers and sisters face, I didn't want to be idle and I knew I had to do my part and help.

I chose to release this album exclusively on Bandcamp specifically to raise money for efforts that support both Black Lives Matter movements and COVID-19 relief. As a Filipino that both participates and benefits from Black culture and also has friends and family working the frontline against this Coronavirus, I understand and recognize the platform I have and the responsibility to help.

The proceeds of this album will be going to both Color of Change and Direct Relief.

Color Of Change is the "nation’s largest online racial justice organization" and continue to lead and build campaigns empowering the Black community.

"Color Of Change helps people respond effectively to injustice in the world... As a national online force driven by 1.7 million members, [they] move decision makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people, and all people."

For more info on what they are doing, click here: colorofchange.org/about/

Direct Relief's response to Covid-19 has focused on providing protective gear for frontline health workers and filling other requested medical needs.

It's clear that our health care workers have had shortages in their resources and equipment, Direct Relief works to fill that gap. For more info on the organization, click here: www.directrelief.org

I wouldn't be the artist I am if not for Black people, black artists, and black music. I understand my platform and it's reach and the responsibility I have to use it effectively and be vocal and proactive. Your album purchase goes to these efforts.

Don't stay silent. #BlackLivesMatter
