After my first three efforts with, I think this song marks the beginning of a consistent vibe and a more signature sound. It’s along the same plane as the atmosphere of “LANES,” the album that I’m releasing in June. Although I feel my first three efforts are still saturated with who I am and the music I want to make, I think I was merely scratching the surface of who I feel I am as an artist. This song really begins the shift into a more specific direction. More personal, a little bit more progressive in its sound, very impulsive but intentional.

This song touches on the pursuit of my significant other. The excitement and persistence of the chase. We live in a lazy generation that has lost that sense of pursuing and working for what they want. There is an easiness of giving up at the first sign of a red flag. I believe things should be different. I am very familiar with working against the doubt of others in pursuing the one I want to be with, this song explores that journey and the merit in my persistence.

Again, thank you to the two who made this song what it is. Nick Pacoli for his production. You’re a king to work with sir. And Wyatt Bock for making me sound nicer than I do in real life. You’re a magician and I couldn’t thank you enough for putting me on.

She said, "Catch me if you can."
Followed her in hot pursuit
She wondered if she'd ever get captured again
I said you haven't got a clue

If I fail at least I tried
It's the most that I can do
Lay my head to rest, be rid of the thought that I
Didn't do all I could for you

Don't you know
You're a real one
Don't you see
What I see
Don't you know
You're a loaded gun
Taking aim at me
Boom shot

I fell into your spell
And there's no getting out
I'm falling deeper
Going down down down down
You've got me in your hands
I'll stay long as I can
I'm yours whenever
If you're down down down

Don't you know
You're a real one
Don't you see
What I see
Don't you know
You're a loaded gun
Baby you're taking aim at me
Boom shot
